As the saying goes, “necessity is the mother of invention” (Plato), this inability to find a computer keyboard to type both her nation’s official language (English) and her native language (Yorùbá) started the concept and inspired the creation of NAILANGS keyboards which enable typing multiple languages whilst taking into consideration Nigeria as a whole, that is, a multilingual society where multilingualism thrives
